  • To say that Japanese are not good with round things is rather strange, as the rising sun in the form of a circle is in the flag! Rocky terrain seems a plausible explanation for the abscence of wheel in Japan, but, places like Greece are rocky, and yet they had the wheel.

  • Yes indeed, the terrain is part (but not all, as you note with Greece). It is a puzzle.
