I've got a A4000 but it doesn't give me anything on the display. I've tried connecting to a TV and a philips commodore monitor I used for my A500 but still no image. You think it could be a problem with the harddisk? or simply the graphic card?

I don't need to Google anything. :) I've been following OS4's progress all this time, aswell as all this silly business with these companies changing hands, fighting for IPs and name usage and suing each other. I don't see OS4 or any of this as "Amiga" though. You can call anything you like "Amiga", but it's the original classic stuff that I will always know as Amiga. Hence, I tend to disregard all the new stuff.
nice machine ! :) can you play old amiga games on it ? i always wanted a amiga but didnt have enough money at that time..

Thanks :) Yes at least to some extent. Some older games may struggle as this machine is insanely upgraded (060+PPC, G-Rex PCI) but booting with a couple things disabled like CPU caches and the usual tend to get things working. I use a great tool called WHDLoad (registered it as it's so good) which is a set of hard disk installers for all the old Amiga games. Not only does it let you do away with old, dying floppies, but it patches each game to run on upgraded Amigas and works around bugs. :)

A nice, intelligent comment for a change(!) A4000s are great fun to tinker with. They aren't cheap these days but if you can source one, you'll soon get addicted to upgrading and acquiring new hardware for it. :)
