I think it is better than a leg bag, but they have an american company that has something very similer to this but more comfortable, too  many things you have to do for this one. it's a speical made comdom that connects to the peebag, consealed in the underwear that holds the plastic bag so it will not tough the skin the company is simplicity look it up on web.

We tested some incontinence devices before, but they did not work well due to their limited capacity or pressure sensitive operation. 1.5liter capacity of DUCD is very satisfactory for hours long missions.

Why not simply use a P-valve?

P-valve needs cleaning of not only the device itself but also inside if the suit.

We actually use a heavy incontinence diaper as the other option. However, DUCD is normally preferred as it is much less messy than a diaper. Light diaper like this does not work well underwater due to pressure.

I'm using a P-valve since more that 7 years and never needed to clean my suit!!!

Flushing the P-valve with alcohol or vinegar from time to time takes exactly 5 seconds and can be done when the suit hangs for drying outside.

Your contraption is a solution for a non existing problem but if it's working for you, then good for you.

I'll continue using a real P-valve.
