Peter Jackson was not doing hobbit. (UPDATE) he is Now!

when i posted this video Peter Jackson was not going to do the hobbit, but almost a year or so he is now going to be doing the 2 hobbit movies. "THANK FUCK FOR THAT"

its sad to here that peter jackson and his team will not be directing THE HOBBIT or askd back to take part, NEW LINE has shot them selfs in the foot with this one i think.

Peter Jackson made LOTR trilogy. It only makes sense that he directs the Hobbit films too! I hope Del Toro doesn't ruin it. At least Jackson is helping with the film as Producer! :)

At least Peter Jackson is IN in too, that means if anything is going quite a wrong way (which maybe unlikely to happen). Peter Jackson could still "give" suggestions and maybe a few directions to Guillermo. ^^ Thank god Fran and Phillpa are also gonna be part to write the script. They wrote such excellent script in the trilogy and I can't wait for more!

some time after i posted this video it was anaounced that Peter Jackson will Produce the Hobbit with Del Toro directing.

so it should be good

Agree. They better don't fuck The Hobbit up, the book is great! I also hope that it wont be the same as lotr, but not to far away from it either.
