@inandso In fact if you look at photos of Cuba from the 1950's, you'll see it hasn't changed that much - it always looked pretty run down except for the rich parts where the tourists went. Your "political tourists" are unlikely to be from the US since US citizens are mostly banned by their own government from visiting Cuba - one can only speculate on the real reasons for that. Anyway, most people who go to Cuba go because it's a wonderful country, not for political reasons. Try it yourself...?

It reminds me a little of a football chant...
(#There's only one Che Guevara!
One Che Guevara!
There's only one Che Guevara!#)
It's a nice tune. :)

I got interested in this song and then started looking at recent photos from Cuba posted to Google Earth. It is really pathetic what has happened to this country under Castro. Notice the tourists (maybe they are American) watching the performance at 3:04. I think they are likely 'political tourists' who go to Cuba to enjoy the true socialist paradise of Fidel's Cuba. I used to think this was only funny, but in light of what is happening in the US now, it seems like the doom awaiting us.

what a cool video. i really want to meet the maker of it. it must be one of the cooles persons on this globe!
yes funny how some people get angry at the fact that cuba provides such good quality health care for its citizens. i have been to this hospital and was very impressed with the care here for its patients. the care is free and open to all unlike some wealthy countries where many of those (particularly poor and black) citizens are on the street.homeless and exploited.
they do say how a people care for their weak and vulnerable citizens is a window on the soul of that nation.

It would have added to it if they had increased the pace.
