Richard Page, Steve George and Pat Mastelotto of Mr. Mister, along with long-time collaborator and lyricist John Lang, talk about the release of their long awaited 4th album "Pull" which had been shelved for two decades. The album is available at the band's own LittleDumeRecordings.com label.

  • Oh this album is also on itunes. Oddly they state it's release date as 1990 - as if there was never a release issue! Itunes are weird.

  • @undrugged Sony released the iTunes version. The CD is available on our site, MrMisterOfficial

  • I get that it's banter between old band mates, but I do sense some real animosity between the three of them? Am I way off?

  • @undrugged You're way off!

  • Oh, no, wait - you said "studio shot" - that's actually Paul de Villiers - producer "Pull" and "Welcome To The Real World"

  • Actually, that's not Tommy Funderburk. You're probably talking about Bobbly Colomby. Bobby (who was the drummer in Blood, Sweat & Tears) originally signed Richard and Steve when they were "Pages" to Epic Records. A dear friend.

  • Moving and interesting video.

It's so nice you shared these moments with us...

And their comments about the songs are fascinating ; they help us to go deeper with both the lyrics and music.

Mr Mister compositions speak to the heart and to the brain, and don't forget to be sensual too, especially with Richard Page voice. And their performances are simply perfect. That's why I like them.

Thank you to the one who did this video.

  • They're back!!!!!!!! :)

  • Mr. Mister is my favorite band of all time. You guys made such a huge impact on my life. When I turned 9, the only birthday present I wanted was the "Welcome To The Real World" LP and thanks to my parents, I got it. :) I wore that record out from listening to it so many times. I still have my Mr. Mister poster I bought at a local county fair back around '89/'90 and it's hanging here on my wall. Now here in 2012, my kids are fans as well. Thank you guys (including you Steve Farris!)!!

  • Broken Wings is one of the best songs in the 1980s.

  • Just wanted to say that of all my records in my large collection, this one is the one I keep playing. Guys, not only is it gorgeous, beautiful and well-played, it also is extremely musical and lyrical, and if I was to only bring one record to that deserted island, this is the one.

  • This is when pop music wasn't utter shit.

  • An amazing sound. So glad to hear these guys released a new album!

  • @MrMisterOfficial Cool man, I am happy to be well off with that observation! Oh and I am happy to report that 'Pull' is a damn fine album :)
