  • I have just put the main prefab in the prefab creator though and it added it to the scene but it mentioned changing the materials in the material tab when there was none in it already and also it creates a prefab in the static LOD folder but I don't see it until I minimize unity3D and then maximize it then it shows up in the static LOD folder but when i try to drag that new static LOD prefab into the scene it doesn't work. as mentioned above, first object to make it to the scene, might work?

It might be a bug, UniLOD was never released past the beta version. Currently it is on hold. Sadly I cannot help with any bugs at this time.

  • Currently it is only supports a single mesh per prefab. If you tried to add more you will get a warning message. Import the model into a modeling application, and export each mesh as it's own to fix this. I'm not really sure what you meant by your second message.

  • really need more in depth and audio :x nice work so far.

  • @Bearishsun Thanks for the fast response! I have just found another model that had the main prefab with one mesh in it. It works like you show in your videos. It has lots of textures though. I'm new to unity3D and have just been learning all I can abut it recently. I seen your forum posts and seen that your software could help with lag problems :D I have been looking at the terrain stitch tool too, but not being able to use the simplification tool is what has had me confused for the most part.

  • I've probably deleted 800 things in unity3D trying to get this right.Things I have created then deleted cause it had funky results. This is a great software though and I can tell it would save lots of loading time. I'm thinking I could go threw somehow and select each prefab in the main prefab threw blender then import it but for a "Wagon" for instance that has 9 meshes and prefabs within the main prefab would take time, and I could only imagine how long something detailed would take for the LOD

  • This software is nice but when I import a model that I have found online it has prefabs within prefabs and "Main Prefab" for instance has "part1,2,3, etc.. within that "Main Prefab" and when I try to set them in the LOD prefab maker it loads the "Main Prefab" instead of the "part1,2,3 etc..) that's within it. I've tried everything. I have the free version but I think the problem is to do with the models I upload. None have just 1 mesh in the main prefab, instead multiple meshes and prefabs in it
