The Gander Mtn Academy Live Fire Range is a class act experience. If you are in the Lake Mary, Florida area, make it a must see location, you will not be disappointed.

@idontspoon Same here. I'd rather find a real range where i could do all that. As cool as all those situational practices are, they're still just simulated guns.
I got excited when i heard "starting at $40." Then I found out it's $40 for 45 minutes. A year membership for a shooting range is usually under $30 for a whole year. This is a rip off.
why can't we have this type of facility here in the UK? Stupid government with their "guns are bad, think of the children" attitude. Anyway, criminals have guns over here, so why not allow everyone to be armed? The second I have enough money, I'm leaving Scotland and getting a one way ticket to the US!
At 2:32 the guy tells the assailant to "Put the knife down". I hope this is not what they are teaching civilians in this academy. These are not law enforcement officers they are training, they are civilians. If you are a civilian and you have positively identified an assailant to have a weapon speaking to him or asking him to put his weapon down is a law enforcement officers role, not that of a civilian....
I got a "sharpshooter" rank during a short session. What is the ranking system?

@Blueninja33 Yeah, I'd like to try it out too and i'm sure it's a nice place but for the price i wouldn't go more than once or twice.

@idontspoon Yeah, but I'd pay $40 for 45 mins in that virtual simulator.
