This clip is an excerpt from Brad Davis' Flatpicking the Blues DVD/Book/CD course. In this clip Brad is demonstrating the basic blues shuffle rhythm in the key of G. The purpose of this segment is to show bluegrass players and flatpickers how to play a blues shuffle rhythm first in chords positions that they are familiar with (open chords) and then in closed chord positions. After this part of the rhythm segment of the course, Brad moves on to talk about various resolves and standard 12-bar blues forms.
