Rube Goldberg Device- Making a Bowl of Cereal

this is our rube goldberg device that we made for a school project..
for the project we had to make a device that made a breakfast item. our first idea was to make a waffle.. but we got all of the device built to pour the batter onto the waffle iron, but we couldn't figure out how to close the lid of the waffle iron. so in the end we decided to just have the device pour milk into a bowl of cereal.. and it worked great.

we started out the device by having a bottle of vinegar react with baking soda that blew up a balloon that tipped a tube that had a ball balancing on the end of it. the small ball rolled down the tube and hit a set of dominos that hit a large marble. the large marble rolled down a little slide and then hit a car that knocked a rock off the chair. the rock was attached to a pulley type system. so when the rock fell it pulled the string and tipped over a cup of milk.. the milk fell into a funnel that poured it onto the bowl of cereal.. TADA!!!

funny thing happened though.. when i was starting the device by pouring the balloon of baking soda i accidentally hit the end of the tube that made the ball go down the tube.. my face was priceless cause i was like "oh no!"
