@kenjames00 The sperm is of course an organism. And a cell. You can look up the wiki definition of organism, for example, or something more sophisticated like a good biology book, but it is not a debatable point. The human zygote, like a sperm, or the ovum, or the cells that you rip off when you scratch your nose, is a living organism. A human living organism, if you please.

@soham087 "Life" refers to any living organism in general. "Human life" means specifically a human living organism. A sperm cell is not a human life because it is not an organism, it is simply a cell, a part of an organism. Thus I'm curious where @Babylauncher3000 read that a tumor is ever defined as a human life.

@kenjames00: The words 'life' and 'human life' are different. Is the sperm then not a 'human life'? How many pro-sperm men do you know? I am not for killing a fetus whenever one wishes, but just saying.

What's up with the transcript?

@Babylauncher3000 First, how do you think I'm confusing human life w/ living person in my original comment? Second, can you tell me where a tumor is ~ever~ defined as a human life? A medical or biological source would be preferred.

Rick Santorum will be the next Glen Beck...mark my words.

Santorum's words , "I don't think you'll find a biologist in the world who will say that [a child in the womb] is not a human life." I believe the host @1:35 in his commentary is blithely misquoting Santorum . If someone does find a biologist to prove Santorum wrong, I'd be curious to hear what that biologist thinks the child in the womb is, if not a human life.
