The first series New Mini is more authentic what comes to the feel. Some materials are also higher quality on the previous one. The latest model is more like any high quality small car. It's heavier, engine is civilized and the whole car is beefier and is not as good and 'sporty' looking in my opinion. One of the points in driving a Mini is that you FEEL the car and the engine and the bumps in the road. The latest version is supposedly made to appeal on a larger group of consumers and NA market.

@Fastgt2003 thats not to high actually i think its kinda low i just had my 2008 jcw with 45k appraised at $25,000. i know that of course a jcw would be a little more but i think that $19,900 is a total steal

very informative review on the mini tho chris. I had no idea that they changed from supercharged to turbocharged. You quite possibly just saved me from looking like an idiot in a future car conversation lol.

That's what I'm here for...and BTW, you're wrong about Dave, he's Dangerous alright, but he seems to have an entourage of woman that I could only pray for (except for my wife, of course). I guess that's what you get for being a good guy!
