Central Kenya MPs are calling for the creation of more districts in the province. They lauded PNU chairman Prof. George Saitoti for being instrumental in the formation of new districts in the region. However, as Rashid Ronald reports, Saitoti may now be in the process of stamping his authority within PNU as the race for 2012 heats up.
saitoti plz hold ur own umbrella-- we ain't a slave colony anymore!!!

Yes, and Verk is apologetic. Very barbaric. Did you notice that the bulls look healthier than the guys inciting them into a fight? Coz instead of cultivating their farms for nutritious food crops, they engage in following Khalwale wherever he goes with his bulls. I have also just found out on the net that there was another bull fight organised by Khalwale in Bukhungu Stadium shortly before last May, 2009. The number totals to four in less than five months. This is crazy. Pure madness.

The bottom line in Michael Verk's Dog Fights, Ikolomani Bull Fights and Cuban Cock Fights?
They're barbaric sports watched by cowards who can't take fight...there is nothing there that is 'cultural sports'!

And this is why Emmanuel Juma in Bulls Eye should next Friday do a clip entitled: The Bull Sthat characterises our politics.

Yes. And we should tell Khalwale to stop this lunacy about bull fighting. His constituents seem to be preoccupied with nothing else save bull fighting. At the national level he seems to be doing a good job. But every time I see him on TV in Ikolomani, he is involved in bull fighting!! This is the third time of bull fighting in less than four months: At Charles Lilechis funeral in Shinyalu, then with Balala at Malinyaa and now with Kalonzo Musyoka. Where is the rural development?
