So, I'm sitting here with my new friend Chuck and I'm having a great time laughing about the experience that we're having here on set at the Hair Club's new shoot of an infomercial. And, you know, Chuck this is the first time I've been on the infomercial but I've watched them at home. And before having a relationship with this From Bald to Bold Blog that I do, I used to think everybody on this infomercials which is bunch of actors. And I'm here to let everybody out there know that we're not -- that we're just average guys who've done something about a hair loses, is that right?

That's right, Julian. If we were actors we would be driving better cars.

True. Now, I'm a car guy but I wish there are some better cars out there and have too. Tell me a little bit about yourself and the viewers out. Where are you from?

I'm originally from Southern California but I've lived the second half of my year in Seattle.

Seattle, okay. How do you like it out there?

I want to go back to Southern California

Oh really. Based on what you're wearing, I'm guessing that you are something to do with fitness or karate up at Seattle.

Yeah, my whole life is been -- I've been a PE teacher, I've been a coach since I was 20 years old. I'm 56 now.

Wait. How old?

I'm 56, Julian.

You are -- wow, I wouldn't -- you look fantastic.

Thank you.

A part of the fitness but I think the hair has a lot to do with it.

Julian, if you saw me with my hair, without my hair, I'm just a no man, who is fit, which the fit thing helps but I'll tell you something, the hair gives you 10 years back, Julian, 10 years.

Well, let's go back to that part then, when you, when you were bald which is basic...

Right.

Right. How did it make you feel?

Well, I started to lose my hair when I was 18 and I had a really, I would like fro.

And when I started losing my hair I just thought my hair was getting, you know, where I can manage it. Then I started noticing the hair in the shower ...on the pillow and from my 20's through about my, you know, the end of my 20s, then it really started being a problem and I'm combing over, going my hair a lot.

All the tricks you can think of...

And, you know, you might be able to blow it off but you're always thinking and when you go through this you're always looking for what can be, what's out there -- being on this side and nobody knows, nobody knows that I'm a client. I talk to people who are going through hair loss and they will say the same thing, they will say, you know, I'm frustrated, I'm frustrated. And that gives me an opportunity to say...

You can admit to them that you're a client.

I'm a part of the Hair Club family.

Which it is a family.

Oh, my gosh. Julian, when you go for a service...

Okay, when you walk in they know you. First as soon as I sit down, I went through this before sit down in a chair, they were interested in me, they know my family, ask me, you know, how is it been since the last time they seen me. They bring me in to the service. What do I think, what do you think about the hair, maybe there is some changes we want to make. How do you feel, I mean are you having any problems at all. I mean, they are really into me feeling and looking the best I can look.

So, Hair Club you found as reputable, dependable, you feel like a family member there. Now, once you had your hair from hair club how did that make you feel, did you lose some of that desperation?

Got rid of all of it.

Good.

Julian, there are other things in life that are, that you need to worry about. My hair wasn't one of those and I don't any more. I used to spend 20 minutes on my hair.

You do not have time to move onto other things.

If I spent five minutes, it's because I want to. I dive in the water and come out and it's my hair. In my karate class there were two rules, rule number one, never touch my hair, rule number two, go back to rule number one, never touch my hair. Now, they take me down, I'm in headlocks, I'm grappling.

And you don't have to worry about...

Never.

...if touch it doesn't come off.

No, no. Run your fingers and grab my hair...

Show me.

Go ahead, grab my head, Julian, come on grab, see that okay so there you go see.

That's what it is. It's my hair, it's my hair. You look, you feel, look at the texture, look at the color, it's my hair. Okay.

It is.

I got my life back. I got my life back and I'll tell you something, I will never stop being a part of the Hair Club family. It's the best.
