for this video, I used Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9, but that can cost between $50-120 depending on what version you get. I do not know what other programs you could use for this effect, but look around and you might find one.

It is when the FPS of your stop motion (24fps) is lower than the FPS of the final movie (30 fps). This creates a fade in and out between each picture making it look a bit smoother.

@17jorgek thanks. I got the clamps off of E-Bay (and they're actually silver, I just painted them green). Look for "helping hands".
