How can you dislike this? Someone was heart felt enough to that us, for what we did during WW II. Some of the Greatest Generation died for our futures. The younger generations and other cultures don't seem to remember or don't want to.

Most of those sent ashore at Normandy never saw combat before. They had been training for a year or more in England. Each beach had to have special training to acomplish the task. Most of them only lasted for a few minutes before they were cut down. It nearly failed. Some people like to insist that it could have been done sooner. That is impossible. The decision to go in then was purely technical; based entirely, strategic, tactical & logistical considerations.
@USHomeboy an in the name of americans i would like to thank france for all its support at the beginning of my country im am not a american that doesnt know history and without a very famous frenchman named MARQUIS DE LAFAYETTE without men like him that loved freedom so much he would leave his home country to fight for a cause in a far away land we wouldnt have the country i live in today i think we always show our support for one another whenever it is needed AMERICA & FRANCE FRIENDS FOREVER!
