Part 2 Brain Mapping With EEGLAB and Emotiv Epoc headset & TestBench V1.5

This is a screen capture of my experiences creating brain maps with the Emotiv Epoc headset,
Testbench V 1.5 and EEGLAB free open source software thus far. I am looking for constructive
criticism, pointers and suggestions. I have just been trying to figure this out on my own for the
last 2 weeks and have no prior expertise. If you are interested in collaborating in refining this

@eagle11280 I believe the non-uniform electrode spacing is the main issue with localizing brain volumes using the Emotiv headset. Fortunately, when I was in university, my colleagues and I developed a method that can localized brain sources in the 3D head volume in cases of non-uniform spatial electrode sampling.

Hi, if you or anyone here can make a video explaining how to perform dipole fitting in eeglab, please let me know, I need to understand how to do this, I've seen the tutorial, but it appears that this is not explaining everything concerning to this, no explaining about dipole moments, nor about time course of the dipoles too; please help me. Thanks

I might be able to help you, but I am not sure what you wan to do with this? You seem to have picked up EEGLAB quickly, and I am also a novice at EEGLAB.

The idea for the arrows and to use mind control in humanoid robotics (Honda did copy my idea for Asimo) , or to move the cursor of the mouse in the computer were mine... now watch this... if you use the squared screen with augmented reality in your cell phone or eye glasses... then you will be able to do more... I have only used single & dual channel EEG units, but the main reason that you would want the 'many' channel Emotiv would be to train for neural synchronicity. But you are rather starting at the end, rather than the beginning in your brain map/training. I would suggest reading 'The Open Focus Brain' by Fehmi, one of the originators of EEG's. In this book he discusses how to get neural synchronicity most easily. Then your Emotiv unit could be used for feedback training. (I want one! :) )
