APP's "Time" Cover [The Alan Parsons Project] by ALEC

Hi !
The song, written by Eric Woolfson and Alan Parsons, and originally featuring Eric's lead vocals, is on the 1980 album "The Turn Of A Friendly Card".
I sing on a very special orchestral arrangement made in the 1983 album "Andrew Powell & The Philarmonia Orchestra play the Best of The Alan Parsons Project". Fun fact: Powell is the official orchestra arranger of The Alan Parsons Project ! In 1983 he just made an album of instrumental orchestral versions of tunes he already worked on in their original versions. It's curious to make a cover of a song using an official instrumental version of it and not a backing track !
I have to say that this one is a song one could study forever(more) and still learning something new about how to better control the vocals side, so I can't say that now -I've got it-.
This song (a successful single in the 70's) will go on inspiring a lot of us and hopefully inspiring new ones.

I love Alan Parsons' music and I feel you did a great job covering one of my favorite songs of his. I agree with frankibio that the high notes are really difficult to hit ( I should know my voice will crack all the time when I try haha) but you nailed them admirably. Well done.
