I'm not sure what the argument is here. Thrice and Gaslight Anthem are two of my favorite bands of all time, they both have excellent writing and lyrics and Gaslight Anthem has some of the best stage presence of any band I've ever gone to see and Thrice is one of the few bands who manage to make their songs better live than on the actual albums.

when you're right, you're right! both Thrice and Gaslight are some of my favorites, as well. simply great. i'm seeing Gaslight again on the 31st of March.. i'll try to catch a video or 2 if i'm not too close (their crowds = insane.. ha) for the Gaslight fans :)

yeah no kidding.. watch my other two videos (or just one.. you'll get the point with just 5 seconds of either) from a different show where a drunk kid singing definitely ruined them.. ha. i tend to sing along (if i'm not recording).. but it's quiet and mostly to myself.. i don't scream at the top of my lungs to the entire song.

you should try listening to a little of his solo stuff. I think Dustin Kensrue's voice is made a bit more for accoustics really, Try Blood and Wine.

Pffft The Jonas Brothers cover of The Beatles Hello Goodbye was the worst cover I have ever heard in my 18 years of living!! Oh my god John Lennon and George Harrison would have beaten the living crap out of them!

Wow....you're not expecting these covers to actually be good, but I'm quite impressed with this one. We've heard many bands attempt this song, all of them sucking! The distortion and drive is petty darn accurate here, but I still don't like lead singers trying to "sing" this song. Paul's insane vocal is just something else all together. Then again, it probably would have ruined it had he tried to recreate Paul's lead vocal for this cover.
