To clear things up. You cannot currently run a Mac VST in Windows and vice versa. The developer has to code differently for both OSs. It's semi confusing but basically the architecture of both systems is different enough that they cannot translate back and forth. Even if they did the amount of lag introduced would be phenomenally annoying.

@cyber2jones lol why would you get a mac ... and cant macs run windows? so yes , but maybe there is some crazy wrapper for vsti's to run in mac OS

@cyber2jones yes they can be both mac and pc depends on the developer made a mac version some could be only mac and not pc.

a lot of the VSTs i've heard today have this same kind of 1970s sci-fi z-movie sound. there must be a revival now that everyone's sick of 1,001 minimoog clones.
