It was a rubber cut out. As for the max depth for 02 use that depends on allot of factors but in very general terms, yes, 6-7 meters

I hope to be able to do some more 2 - 3 minute Seahunt style clips with some cool custom dive gear and the Hydroglove dry suits.

It may look that way but it is just normal water pressure and all the excess air vented from the suit. Being a loose fitting and very flexible rubber suit it is just normal to see those wrinkles.

Yes, it is the only dive suit I use. My first suit was a Harvey's wet suit and from there I've dived with both a Viking and Aquala tunnel entry suit. As far as comfort and being flexible the Hydroglove wins over them all. It is also faster to roll the waist entry up than to tie off the chute on the Aquala. The price for that comfort is the fact that the Hydroglove is not as rugged a suit. So I would not recommend one for a deco dive on the Andrea Doria but for sport diving they are great.
