My K8 engine knocking after I remove the left cam shafts to change a retainner. I don't know if that's a coincidence or I just did some mistake, but, I'm pretty sure that I time the belt right. But when I start the engine again, it start to make this horrible sound.
PS: The tensioner is allright.

  • Hey dude, i think you´ll need to do a machining job on ur heads

Also try to clean the lifters, valve housings, make sure ur springs r ok and change the head gasket for a new check. ( and don´t forget to rev a little and wait for few secs.

As u told, the tensioner is ok and the engine is timed.. i´d try to change the way of setting the pulleys and bearings a lot of times, but if this don´t work, i think this is the only way to fix ur problem. I used to hav a klze now ihav fd3s

    I wish u good luck
