Dear David,
The video is so helpful. I was looking for good plugins and find yours the best so far. Thank you very much.
Can you please also make some video about custom themes and database linking.

Hi David.
I like your selection. The only problem with free plug-ins is maintenance. A big concern to me since many of them are not updated.
Thanks also for the recommendation of Max Banner Ads.
I'm going to subscribe to your channel to see how it goes.
All the best

Hi Diego,
I agree. Some plugins get left behind gathering dust and may wreak havoc with your latest WP version. I've also noticed too many plugins of any kind can really slow down the performance of your site making it take forever to load. This can lose people's attention and they click Back before they ever see your site!

Getting my web master skills back, at this 12 hours a day. Seems like Word Press is the place to start, every other page you attempt to build and/or SEO is a waste of time. I am saving your video in my Word Press file. Thanks for the info.

@mythhealer Awesome! Stoked I can help and hopefully save you some time- WordPress is awesome because you don't have to be a genius or spend a ton of money to build a site with great features. It does seem like WP blogs get ranked pretty fast, especially when they're constantly updated...

Tawna, there are a few ways to get AdSense at the top or bottom of your posts.
1. You can use a theme like WooThemes that has a widget built in.
Option2 is placing the google adsense javascript manually in the top or bottom of each of your posts. This is a bit tedious and labor intensive tho...
The 3rd is to use a plugin called Max Banner Ads. You can place the widget in a few different spots depending on the Theme you're using, and the free version should get you by just fine :)

Akrafiahmed, I'm glad I was able to help! Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with database linking or building custom themes. Some themes that are pretty powerful and customizable are Thesis themes and WooThemes.
I've used both of these (among some others) and really think highly of them-
