Well, I'd imagine the maintenance costs would be on the expensive side, but after driving it a bit, I can definitely say that it's smooth and has decent pick-up for its time.

how the hell do you drive not one but 2 automatic 6s? lol.. plus if i was that rich I'd make sure my fog lamps worked before showing it off. Maybe I demand too much for these cars. Not trying to be a dick, iI just love E24s too much, and manuals at that lol.

Paul Bracq's Design masterpiece the E24, still looks fresh and timeless even today! Saw one in a street in London a few weeks ago, a 1984 635i Orange red edition looked stunning! made the other parked cars look very ordinary! Good as the E63 is, it just can't compete in Design Critical terms with the E24. Even the cockpit and dashboard of the E24 is superior in every way!

E24 have more classic. Its a true BMW. And the cockpit of the E24 is a dream.
