On a different aspect, Taoism uses what other religions & sects do as to present to anyone "the package". This is in the form of allegory. Allegory is the figurative representation of the abstract. For instance, death, life, heaven, hell, Yin & Yang, Tao, God, Satan, etc.
I.E. angels can be represented by man in the form of statues (all with human appearances but with wings). In the case of death; you may see a dark figure, with a skull, etc. Seasons don't fear the reaper..nor do the ..

In part that's something that taoism pay more attention to, & it goes into it more deeper as to conclude that opposites depend on each other. Of course, even taoism can be questioned, which in part it is by the same tao.
Funny though, the 2 main characters in the Bible oppose each other (God & Satan) & so their deeds (good & evil). I wonder if there's the same amount of evil in God as good in Satan?. Like you can see in the Yin & Yan.

I always thought it would make more sense if "hell" were full of ice instead of fire. Everything is opposite of what it seems in this world, I'm finding.

If God is dead then He once lived, according to your theory. So you are a believer, just a very cynical and sad believer. Or you are not? Is is really that relevant in the meaning of all living things or could it just be evidence of navel gazing and excuse making.

Why bother with this? I thought your god could sort it all out. Obviously he cant and is redundant. The more we rely on gods the more we go back to the dark ages. God is dead - lets move on...
