Hey dude, so once I'm in RSD.. I press the "..." and find the file. So once it's in there.. I press start and nothing happens.. Any help?

Hey, so im not very experience in the droid itself, but i have experience iwth pc's. I wanna root my droid it is in 2.1 and i have gotten as far as downloading the SBF files required. but my computer does not recognize the file type. can you help me?

If by reboot my droid into program mode you mean the boot loader screen then yes if there is a different thing to do I would appreciate feedback. I put it into the bootloader screen but powering off the phone and holding the up button on the D-pad and holding power button until it turns back on into the boot loader screen to run the RSD and the start button still remains greyed out.

@rbuness hmmm i would make sure you double check the website take it slow go step by step and make sure it works with your system (xp, Vista, Win7....)

I can get to loading the sbf file using the RSD program but the Start button stays grayed out any suggestions?
