Your Blues Dropped In On Me Today

This is my nod to Tom Waits. I wrote this quite a few years ago. It has taken quite a while to get it to youtube because I was never quite satisfied with how I played and sang it. Tried using a Tom Waits voice and felt too dirivative. Like it now that it is just my voice as it is. Feels more honest. The song came out of a relationship that at the time tore my heart out but with distance... well, let's put it this way.... Thank God for unanswered prayers.

I suppose the same way that history determines what good music survives we'll have to wait and see what history says about all these changes eh? In the mean time, music and art are neglected, there is no doubt of that. But to me, that's where the quality in life resides. Thanks for the supportive comment.
