It's a training video, so of course they look robotic.

@92071551743 I don't believe it was all due to the reverse thrusters, I believe it was partly because the pilot exited the runway and the wind was pretty strong and blew the flames against the fuselage.

@f4212 it's even better to think for yourself that the factory can make mistakes too and trump this will relevant real world experience.

I think it would be fun to hit the thrust reversers on the high end of a parabolic maneuver and try for a hammerhead roll.

@fattyabbo spoiler must be armed before take off pulling the spoiler leaver while is in retracted position.
-
No spoilers. Poor practice -.-

@f4212 Right, and all passengers are already running for the exits because they were not told to remain seated. The required cabin crew are already at their station, because you were just attempting to take-off.
I prefer the "cabin crew and passengers remain seated". Very simple to understand and telling everyone to stay where they are.....in their seats!

nossaaaaaaa ele demoro um seculo pra reverter credoo metade ja tinha morrido
I've a question.. if reject takeoff due to engine fire, should reverse thrust still be used? Also should Emer Evac checklist been executed first or engine fire checklist? Thanks

@guohouzuo The reject takeoff does not consider the nature of the failure. Therefore the use of reverser would still be part of the reject takeoff technique regardless of the nature of the engine failure. Engine fire checklist would be done first before evacuation checklist is initiated. Thanks for watching.

@f4212 just to comment......do u remember the 737 disaster on rejected take off that happended due to the use of revevrse thrust on aborted take off?.,.when they used the clam shields. the fire direction moved to the cabin.. and killed among other reason many people.... maybe this does not apply on ac with clam shields. such as 727 , 737-200, .... thanks

@92071551743 You may have a point. However these drills were designed by the manufacturer of A330 and certified by relevant authorities. They should know these machines better and have access to data from various accidents around the world. Its our duty as pilots to execute those drills to our best capabilities in the interest of public safety. Thanks for watching.

What is meant by the command given "cabin crew stastions x2"
Donobarton 2 years ago
each cabin crew has their own 'working station' in order to assist the passenger of an impending evacuation. however the final 'evacuate' command has to be issued by the captain in order for the whole evacuation process to take place.
