Tim Geithner Even Ron Paul Understands That We Don't Want An Audit of The Fed

Tim Geithner explains to the Digg online community that an audit of the Federal Reserve would be unwise. Although it is by definition also political (i.e. "intrigue and strategy") to not audit the Federal Reserve because those individuals who control the Federal Reserve are using politics, or "intrigue and strategy," by not allowing the Federal Reserve to be audited. Any reasonable person would advocate an audit of the Federal Reserve, and support HR1207.

The Fed would be very independent if it were to cease to exist. Not wanting the Fed to be subject to political influence really means they don't want it to be subject to public scrutiny. The Fed printed trillions of dollars and gave it to foreign banks and governments. Including billions to a Libyan bank partially owned by Gaddafi. The fact is that the Fed created the conditions that led to the collapse of the housing market and will be responsible when the dollar collapses within the next year.
