  • that has to be the coolest thing ive ever seen. for how much of flight can you get the "pilot's eye"?

  • Apart from take-off and landing, the pilots eye view and the 'belly' camera that looks straight down from the underside of the aircraft are available throughout the flight on their own channels of the seat back in-flight entertainment system. The entire system was turned off for landing, but then this channel came back on as the only available channel throughout the cabin for landing.

  • great capture !

  • i flew with bmi in 2008 to las vegas brilliant flight the bmi pilots are some of the best but they only put the tv camera on. On the outgoinig flight and not the return to man

  • Its a shame, bmi have cancelled all routes to america, bmi are planning to span far across europe instead. its a good thing that luftansa own us apparantly and dont worry, they probably wont be changing much to the livery or its name or things like that just routes

  • Say a big thanks to the team at MAN for me as the MAN/ORD route is shutting down.

There are a lot of us that are going to miss this route :)

  • he flys the a321, a320 and a319 for bmi. He is a simulator captain and he flys all over europe abd further. He dosent fly a330 to america and stuff cause he would be away 4 along time

  • yeah that would be awesome...what plane does he fly, what route?

  • Cheers m8 ill tell my dad, hes a senior bmi captain, if you wanna know more email me

  • Looks Great, I flew with BMI to Chicago but was in Premium Economy which was fantastic. However the video screens were the ones that are stowed in the armrest and they were not able to be used during take off and landing so missed this. Pity bet it would have been great to watch.
