Hmmmm - Vancouver Island, Canada - Sydney, Australia - Oslo, Norway - and Zurich, Switzerland. Makes 3 continents! Hehe! Didn't find a skating rink in Bahrain, though!

Yes it just a teaser. I haven't been skating on natural ice for 10 yrs now, but still waiting every winter. don't expect too much haha, :)

Clacking speed-skates, eh? Very modern! Being Norwegian, I had to have a giggle at them being Viking brand - us vikings having been your biggest rivals on the ice (once upon a time *sigh*)

Maybe it is because lots of Norwegians move away, to Switzerland for example ;)

LOL! The skating sport has lost NOTHING in me moving away, I assure you! I used to skate on figure skates in Canada, but last pair I bought were hockey skates, so I don't dig the points into the ice. I would probably fall on my face more than stand on the ice with speed-skates, as they are so long.

Oh, to be on skates again! I lived on the ice when I was a kid. There was no better place! :)
