I had several requests for this great old song and I apologise for the delay in doing it. I first heard this song many years ago played by two wonderful young County Roscommon musicians - the Connolly sisters : Lyla on accordion and Iris on violin. Sadly Lyla passed away in recent years but her gentle spirit is always with us. I dedicate this song to her memory. May she rest among the angels.
I include the words for those of you who like to sing along!
"Forever and ever my heart will be true
Sweetheart for ever, I'll wait for you.
We both made a promise that we'd never part.
Let's seal it with a kiss forever my sweetheart
Let bygones be bygones forever
We'll fall in love once again.
So let's tell the world of our true love divine
Forever and ever you'll be mine."

  • @Miperrodrago Hola Juan Antonio! Eres muy simpático! Tal vez algun día en el futuro subiré un video de nuevo. Quién sabe! Me has dado ánimo!

  • @terrygrif Cette valse s'appelle "étoile des neiges" Chanson écrite par Loulou Gastié, interprétée par Line Renaud et reprise par Simon et les Modanais en 1987.

    Bonne soirée

    André

  • Dear Terry ...the warm and cozy room sets the stage for your wonderful sentimental accordion music. Thanks for sharing the beauty of it all. With love from Canada, Evy
