  • @TheSeptet Maybe Pluto is anti-social and is bitter about his new friends...

  • @bronsonbaker That's not a real reason. It's just a story. So what? Pluto isn't where earth is. If you put Uranus or Neptune close to the sun they would melt too. Are they not planets now?

Improve your reading comprehension. I never called anyone idiotic. I called the definition idiotic and made a good case for why it made no sense. Melting and growing tails wasn't even part of it. It seams obvious to me that I know much more about what we are talking about than you.

  • @monokhem The main reason Pluto isn't a planet is that it's half ice by volume. So that if you brought it to Earth, it would melt, and grow a tail. That means it's a comet. As of right now it is a body within a mass of bodies beyond Neptune, but if it were melted, it would be a comet. There are SEVERAL very good reasons for the re-examining of what the word "Planet" actually means. Learn what you're talking about before you call brilliant Astrophysicists "idiotic".

  • one of my guitar playin uploads is called "um"

  • Dear Neil: I asked "what makes a planet" ... and i asked that same black hole question as clayton when i was in about the same grade... and i went to a planetarium same age that you said you first went. ...ive been a musician i think ill stick with it but im gonna be learning alot of this kind of stuff because i am so interested in it..... i was playing guitar last night when i was listening to one of the hour and a half ones.. and it sounded cool hahaha.. and yeah... i even called one of my

he forgot that the man who created the first Video Game was a jew who fled to the US to escape the nazis.

  • I like Neils' tie

  • @Ozzrya91 It isn't what Pluto did. It's what Eris did. When Asorphysists found out there could be another dozen planets they would have to learn about to once again be concidered experts on the planets they decided that the third class of planets wouldn't be planets at all. The definition they came up with for planet is idiotic. "clear the path of its orbit"? So if an asteroid came and sat in Earths orbit, Earth would stop being a planet? What about rogue planets? They don't even have an orbit.
