For over 10 years now, student leaders at Webster University (http://www.webster.edu) have come together early in the fall and spring semesters to share their goals and ideas for improving various aspects of campus life. From this discussion, each semester a list of issues has been generated. This list is called the "Delegates Agenda." This agenda has helped frame the important issues that students are most interested in working on and create a dialogue with administrators about these issues. The student leaders make professional presentations to the president and the vice presidents to advocate change for these chosen issues. In the past few years a large number of improvements have been made directly related to items that were addressed in the Delegates Agenda. Webster University is committed to offering a personalized education to its students. This is a unique opportunity for students to work with the administration to bring necessary change on campus.
