@seekisforme5 A debate show is still an opinion show; there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But as I said, on MSNBC, it amounts to a shout fest with the resident Liberal screaming and steering the argument. Fox has as many liberals employed as Conservatives, who are daily contributors with varied roles. This is not the case at MSNBC or even CNN. They all have their respective tilts, and that's fine. But the mainstream media has made itself notorious for omissions and far left spin.

@seekisforme5 Let me put it this way - Matthews, Olbermann, Schultz, Maddow won't debate heavy hitters. And they're ALL opinion shows. As for Beck - I wouldn't know, I don't watch him. I don't know Kirsten Powers well either. Most left wing pundits I've seen debate just fire talking points, snide remarks and yell over their opponents. It's incoherent, so I avoid it. I mainly watch the Fox panel, which is 2 liberals, 2 conservatives. Love Charles Krauthammer.

@haypenny MATTHEWS never invites conservatives on his show??? ARE YOU NUTS????? CLEARLY you have never seen his show. Olbermann is strictly an opinion show like GLENN BECK. When was the last time Beck debated someone from the left? He knows he would get embarassed. Search his interview with Kirsten Powers. She HUMILIATED him and afterwards, he NEVER had another liberal on to debate him.

@haypenny @haypenny Matthews is a debate show and features the top right wing political pundits. Ann Coulter, Horowitz, Frum, etc....Schultz had Medved on all of the time. Michael Medved is one of the top right wing intellectuals out there. Maddow has more of an opinion show but often debates right wingers. Liz Cheny has an open invitation on her show and never shows up. Brit Hume's program has token left wingers who work for Fox.
