  • @richpin06a do you really need that air resinator box in? What is the purpose of that? i looked at it and don't get how the engine gets any air with that thing on lol.

  • @omarG19100 Simply put it is a muffler for the intake which you can remove if you like more noise.

  • hi richpin06a , just an up date on my saturn over heating problem . After changing the water pump, thermo, coolaint sensors, dismantiling the fan , replaceing the relays, changing air filter and using 3000 gallons of antifreeze .Ifound that my $10.99 RADIATOR CAP was faulty hahahahahahahahahahahaha . Why did they stop making these cars with a little help from yours truly they are easy to work on and my saturn takes $30 to fill and last me for two weeks any way thanks again .

  • @petara67 I should have though of that... darn.

  • ohhh ok then , why is it the coolant is boiling up with the temp gauge between half way and the 3/4 mark but not in the red. Do you think its the coolant temp gauge , this boiling only happens when the cars idleing at the lights or when you park after driving for a while with the engine idleing. any ideas, the gauge never hits the red

  • @petara67 Have you ever replaced the two wire coolant temp sensor and its connector.

  • @richpin0a oh ok thanks.

  • I could not find the motor for the ION cooler fan. I had to buy the whole plastic frame with the motor already attached. Autozone and O'Riley don't carry it. So we had to order from Autoparts Warehouse. Found a cheaper price on Amazon, but it was already to late to order, the Autoparts Warehouse was already shipping the part out.

  • @petara67 On the 94 the fan will not come on till the temp gauge is almost in the red.

  • hey bro i have a saturn series 2 1994 twin cam sedan ,its over heating ,i have checked or changed the thermo ,water pump , done all the cooling fan checks , replaced the relay under the hood for the cooling fan ,checked the heater pipes ,seem all good , both the same temp. when the temp gauge gets to haif way or higher the cooling fan wont come on. IS there any thing else i need to replace or check. I would be lost with out you , thanks
