when people say public option or when the government talks about the public option it means that tax will increase to support every person.

i am against this public option as i want to save my money and not be forced into a policy i dont want. if i want to see a doctor i will pay for it myself. why should i be forced into a public scheme. i want to pay for my own costs. why should i pay more tax to help a stranger or a lazy uneducated person who can not get a job but spends money on alcohol.

So tell me why he US is the only western democracy to not have universal health care for all its population? why are health care costs up to 10 times higher in the US then in some western democracies? You guys are slaves to Pharma/Health Care Companies. Making money off the dying/sick thats the US way. The US can bring "democracy" to the people of Iraq, yet won't allow their own poor to visit a doctor... the US is Fugged! and "Hyylo" your an idiot.

@sonayounis I will tell you why healthcare is 10 times higher in the United States than anywhere else in the world.
It is because the USA has been inundated with over 30 million illegal hispanic border jumping invaders that pop out a fetus every year on my tax dollar, And not to mention that 75% of african americans are 4th generation welfare have nots that are evolutionary half-wits that are to ignorant to hold a job.

It is important to realise the difference between a public health care option and a health care option which people can choose freely. A public option means that the government will control which hospital you go to for treatment. I would prefer to save my money and when I need treatment or if my child is unwell I can choose which doctor and which hospital to go to.

@hyylo anyone who lived in a public healthcare system knows it is the RIGHT thing to do!! I refuse to live in a country where if you don't have money you got thrown out on the streets and left to die!! Health/Medicine should NEVER be a business .. its about saving lives, not making money!!!

I would love to see the day when private health insurance companies and their backers are wandering the streets in need of health care, and the same system they lobbied against is the one to save them..

It's very easy for those in charge to scape goat and those that have limited "grasping" powers to follow.
