@PTChris1 SO true! i also do that with motor cycles

@rixille A Crown Vic that's taken care of can go up to 400,000-500,000 miles. Cab companies and some police departments maintain theirs and make them last. I've got 105,000 on mine (it's an '05) and it's still running strong. Be aware, though, that you might have to rebuild the engine and transmission at around 150,000-200,000, depending on who the previous owner(s) were and how they kept it up.

really really strong. Much torque power out of a non-turbo or supercharged v8. One of the last cars of that kind of. Love it

i love this kind of car i want it to be my first car

When people see a crown victoria on the road they either..
1. have a heart attack and slow down cause they realize its the cops or..
2. have a heart attack, slow down. then realize its some pensioner thats driving and not the cops. Then speed back up again :)

@Barcafanpl2 Yeap, but with new diesel (e.g. VW/Audi) you are pretty sure you will have a problem with a fuel injector or pomp at 200-250.000km (+/-150.000miles). And usually cost of repair is higher than value of the car (1500euro for pomp/200euro per injector+labour). If you lucky to have old diesel (no common-rail) you can expect 300.000 and more but yes, you still have to take care about your car and yes it is not common in Poland ;)
Innymi słowy nie ma to jak V8 :D

If You really care about car, turbo diesel also can get about 300.000 miles. But the problem in Poland is, that Poles can't really take care about engines (and cars at all).
Pozdro również :D

@Barcafanpl2 Hey I am from Poland as well, there is one more think which makes Crown Vic special... you can expect to do 200.000km (120.000miles) on eourpean car with a petrol engine, for Crowm Vic with 4.6 V8 200.000miles (320.000km) is a "normal millage" and they are expected to go 500.000miles ;) you wont get it with eourpean car, even with diesel (well, only Merc. W124 with 3l R6, tak zwana beczka). Pozdrawiam ;)

@Barcafanpl2 The idea of the V8 is more of a comfort/drivability thing than performance. The lineage of these cars goes back to a time when fuel economy was a footnote in a car's window sticker, the only choice besides a V8 was a straight six, and "good handling" meant you could hit a pothole full speed and not feel a thing. They were the last of the big bodied, bench seated, column shifted American boulevardiers.... RIP.

Haha, half of the people watching this video are europeans wanting to get a glimpse at what Crown Victorias are like.
