  • As long as your dogs are healthy and current on all vaccines, which mine are, they won't get it. Trust me, I was extremely worried!

  • My dog blackie pulled threw distemper. But he had a real bad tick all the time. no one ever liked him and kids were scared of him. But he was still my buddy. I would put him in the truck and ride around with rock on so we could both rock out. lol and it did look like he was rocking out with the ticking up and down.

  • @angryman1007 oh :(

  • @TheMarblegirl101 recovers? by the description im thinking poor little doggy was dead 24 hrs later....?

  • Thank you for posting this video. I adopted a puppy from a shelter 3 days ago and my vet has diagnosed him with distemper. I am unsure of what to do as he is not experiencing any neurological symptoms. Right now I have him on antibiotics for a possible secondary respiratory infection and hoping for the best. I will put him down if he develops other symptoms. Thank you for posting this video, Can you tell me a brief history of your dog's illness and how long it took for neuro symptoms to appear?

  • @petcrazy33 you obviously have no idea what a vaccine does. What is that now? High school biology? Please don't voice your opinion on something if you haven't a clue on what it is.

  • poor doggy! hope she recovers well

  • @petcrazy33: You are obviously uneducated. Before you voice opinions on something you know nothing about (i.e., vaccines), you should OPEN A BOOK! Vaccines give animals (and people) a chance to fight off infection by introducing their bodies to tiny portions of otherwise deadly organism/virus, resulting in a small immune responses that build up over time. When a vaccinated pet is challenged w/ a real threat, they can launch a full scale immune attack more quickly and LIVE!

  • My rot died because he didn't get all his shots from Distemper...
