elaine paige as piaf

This vid brought me to Édith - truly my big love. I had Édith somewhere deep in my head since my childhood and when my friend showed me Elaine's version, I didn't got what i was expected, so I really needed to hear the special,known voice of the rrrr song,which is the most fav in my country (the rrr means Je ne regrette rien :-D ) and when I saw first few seconds of real Édith,I fell in love. Thanks to Elaine that she got me closer to Édith!

Why this -dont mention Susan Boyle here-?you know that as Elaine Paige is a good student of Edith Piaf,Susan Boyle is a very good student of Paige.Why you are this unfair to both?Believe me,without listening to Paige for many long years,there would be no Boyle,can`t you notice that, man?Also Paige,I can guaranty to you that she had spent so many long years of her younghood listening and learning from Piaf`s heritage,this is life.I wonder how many more students of Paige there are !

People should thank Susan Boyle for reminding them of Elaine Paige.

I still can't believe that BIG voice comes out of that tiny person! Great things come in small packages!  :)

I fly for Air NZ and I had her onboard from LA to Akl. Just a gracious, unasuming lady. I chatted to her for about 20 minutes. Raved on about this particular performance. She was so lovely. I still think her greatest moment was: 'I'm their savious' key change BELT on the SWETA awards when she originated Evita.

I believe that she has spet a long period of her younghood stage listening day and night for her indirect teacher.

LOL... there was still smoke on stage...small whiffs of it but i didnt really see the need for it :) im sure the smoke guy just got too distracted by her performance that's all.. lol
