National Academy Foundation (NAF) President JD Hoye discusses education reform, in the context of the current economic crisis. Top corporate leaders involved with NAF, as Ms. Hoye states in the video, realized "the crisis of the day, was in fact going to be solved by the planning for tomorrow." She also discusses the recent MDRC study, which found that long-term earnings gains of high school students in career academies, especially if they were children of color, were up to 17% higher and sustainable over time.
