Hello there! We speak a little differently in Chinese medicine and this video attempts to explain our jargon. We'll use the example of the common cold which in Chinese medicine terms we diagnose as a wind-cold or wind-heat invasion. Another term you might hear from a Chinese medicine practitioner is "e.p.i." which stands for external pathogenic influence or invasion. In this episode we'll see how and why those terms came about.
