Volunteering for Barack Obama in Texas

I had a great opportunity to go down and work with the Obama campaign this past Tuesday in Houston, Texas. It was an amazing experience to be surrounded by twenty thousand plus people filled with the positive energy of hope and change. The Toyota Center was absolutely electric.

I put together some pictures and video (towards the end) I shot during this experience. I didn't try to make any connection between the song lyrics and the pictures so don't try to start looking for some political meaning...it's just a song I had in my playlist (Jason Marz -I'm Yours).

I thought I'd post it here on youtube so that all of the great people I volunteered with will have to access to it....and of course for everyone else who happens to stumble across it. Enjoy!

wow, you gotta love american voters, not that long ago, they decided to elect a retarded, drunk, deserter, warmonger over an intellectual war hero (Kerry), and over a Nobel prize winner( Al Gore). Now, with the opportunity of bringing back the prosperity of the Clinton years, they lean towards an empty suit, with cute words who in the last 3 years nobody can name a single thing he has done for his constituents in Illinois. Obama will bring back a government of the people, by the people, and FOR the people. He will bring honesty and inegrity back to the white house. But he needs our support to do so!! one wish to all americans.

Please take care of this man. I think he is the last hope for the peace and good things on our world.

Amazing video. Thanks for posting this.  The whole thing was great, but of course you saved the best for last. That crowd was amazing. I watched the speech live on CNN, but that really didn't do the atmosphere justice. Thanks again.
