  • Do the horses like the bell sound I wonder?

  • well after training over 300 horses, we put bells on them all and never had one freak out over it, some of the older ones seem to like them , form me there just a pain to put on and keep clean

  • I was wondering, you being a horse person, if they liked it or not. Certain studies have said that, animals listening to classical music, enjoy it, are more calm.. especially the milk cows, give more milk, I wouldn't know.

Gotta love the sound of the bells, on a brisk, cold winter day. A certain beauty to it!

    Thanks

  • @MageesterMixit well the bells dont seem to work that way but u sure can see it in a parade with the big marching band or the bag pipes, even with a instrument on the wagon will make them dance, we use a radio in the barn when we leave them in over night and they stand better

  • Thanks Neil and family, your such an inspiration to me. I have a black purcheron myself. When do you know when they are ready to put to the cart? He has been ground driving for a while now.

  • when they dont get botherd by any thing, then starting them should be easy
