Another oil major will be leaving the market in the next six months.oil marketing company Shell has confirmed that it will be closing down its operations in Kenya and 20 other African markets to pursue upstream activities in oil exploration. Shell will be relinquishing its 22 per cent market share to a yet to be identified buyer effectively changing the dynamics of the Kenyan oil industry. Shell becomes the sixth oil marketing company to exit the Kenyan market due to declining margins.
