This takes me back to when I first saw Rufus back in the day when they would have free outdoor summer concerts in Hampton Va. I recall seeing them twice in a six week period.Became a fan the and will always be one.

RUFUS WAS ONE OF THE "ABSOLUTE BEST BANDS" IN THE MUSIC BUSINESS!!! The intricate arrangements they were able to master were out of this world...Only they could keep up with Chaka without missing a beat and compliment whatever vocals she would come up with!!!

One of the things that I love about youtube is that you just never know what people have to offer. This is definitely a treat. My best friend and I went to see Rufus and Chaka Khan every time they came to Philly back in the day. We just loved this group. Chaka Khan is on the bill this year for the West Oak Lane Jazz Festival...and yes..we will be there!! Great post BLAQUEMUSCLE!!!
