  • how much did it cost u to make that pond cause i want to make one also...thanks

  • Jesus wept, this was over 3 years ago. I can't remember what I did last week.

    Pass.

  • @pondguru

I have been researching deep bio-pond for our farm in Sask., Canada. On pond walls, I was told just the liner (poss addition with felt between liner and earth) is needed (not block / cement walls). I'm concerned with tree roots damaging the pond liner. In this video, there are trees close to pond with just a liner used. Is this concern of mine not warranted?

  • If the trees are really close it may be worth laying a 2-3" thick concrete base down before the underlay and liner but if they are a good distance away, I wouldn't worry about it. Really you will gauge it by how many (if any) roots you find when digging the hole.

  • Whats the dimensions of that

  • I think it was about 25m x 12m x 2m deep - it was quite a while ago so I may be way out there.

  • @pondguru Thank you for this advise.

  • Damn what a terrible bad song.

  • i WISH you were here! the snow is getting colder!

  • Depends on the size and if you have a permanent water feed to keep a clay pond topped up.
