Punkgasm is pretty good. Taken a long time for it to grow on me and I don't think it's as good as WCLP but a fine record nevertheless.

It took me a while, but I think Punkgasm is their most important album after American Don, and 'Awe Man' does a good job of showing why.

Don is ever evolving. Punkgasm has the musicality of World Class LP without the thin writing, plus the originality of Am. Don. I think DC's sound had to devolve to stay relevant, and the production on Punkgasm is right on. Don's music has grown up with their fans- becoming more listenable without losing its edge. Techies may bail, but I remain faithful.

I have to say that I agree there is a lack of complexity compared to ALL previous don cab tracks. The feeling that I got as I watched the show was that it seemed like the fellas were having much more fun on stage than ever before. Now that they are a trio AGAIN, it seems like they opted to make a record that was not as much work to play live. Jason gets to play a little gutiar too, which he seems to enjoy alot. There is more of a grove present on the album that old schoolers like us arent usedto

And this is the new Don Caballero song? I must say that this is a disappointment. I thought that the new tunes would be more complex & interesting, but this sucks.

Let`s wait to hear the new album for a complete review of Don Cab`s musical present.
