Short video of a garage door repair done in San Diego. This was a 1-piece garage door and the Strut or top metal reinforcement bar was damaged because who ever installed the garage door attached the Garage Motors J-Arm to the Strut in an area where there was no Stile reinforcement, so over time the back and forth movement cracked the the stile.....the repair was simple.....replace the strut and move the garage door opener over to line up with the metal stile. Why the installer did not do this in the first place I don't know...but I suspect since this was a steel sectional garage door fused to create a 1-piece garage door....that when the original 1-piece wood garage door was removed it had the garage opener in that position and the installer was just lazy or didn't know any better.....probably lazy....
Poor very poor.

Hi, Just curious, is that a Windsor door? And how often do you run into sectional to 1-piece conversions? What's your opinion on those?
