Daniel Gao Played Demitri Kabalevsky's concerto for violin and orchestra in C major, Op.48, 1st mvmt on June 27th, 2009. He played at Alex Eisenburg student recital in Los Altos, CA. This concerto was composed by D. Kabalevsky for exceptional young violinist and it is very fast and full of energy. IT has many # and b (flat), which make it hard to play in tune and when played correctly, it has a obvious unique Russian style. Daniel played slightly slower than it should be and his violin was tuned slightly lower than piano by mistake. Otherwise, he was very good and in tune.
